Our Sustainability Initiatives
CAfF runs five SDG-aligned sustainability initiatives across Africa — training leaders, mobilising communities, and driving measurable environmental and social impact.
Five SDG-Aligned Sustainability Initiatives
Each CAfF sustainability initiative is mapped to specific UN Sustainable Development Goals, with measurable targets and annual progress reporting.
We train young Africans to become climate leaders — equipping them with the knowledge to design, implement, and report on climate adaptation and mitigation programmes in their organisations and communities.
The Green Africa Initiative supports reforestation, biodiversity protection, and sustainable land use across partner communities — with CAfF members volunteering and leading on-the-ground programmes.
CAfF advocates for clean energy transition across Africa by training energy management professionals, supporting ISO 50001 certification, and partnering with organisations driving renewable energy adoption.
In partnership with community organisations, CAfF trains young professionals in water quality management, environmental compliance, and sustainable water use — building the expertise Africa needs to protect its most vital resource.
CAfF actively promotes gender equity in sustainability leadership — with targeted scholarships, mentorship programmes, and community chapters that centre the voices of African women in the QHSE and ESG space.
Our Partner Organisations
CAfF works with NGOs, government agencies, academic institutions, and private sector organisations to deliver sustainability programmes at scale.
